Museum of tolerance trip

Today I will be writing about our experience at the museum of tolerance.

The museum of tolerance is a place that words cannot do justice to. It is a place where the darkness of history comes to life and we experience what those brave souls had to. One part of the museum that really spoke to me where the gates and tunnels that lead to the gas chambers. The darkness of the room really makes you feel the pain that these people had gone through. The dampness and chill of the room really gave you a chill while learning about the suffering these people weant through. It was a very intense experience going through the recreation of these camps. This area you could really feel the darkness around you the smell, noises, and seeing the area was very intense and educational.

Another part of the museum that was really insightful was getting a card with a child on it. You got a card with a jewish child on it. Throughout the tour of the museum you learned more about your child. When you got to the end however you learned if they lived or not. It was pretty heartbreaking to see how many young children like you and me who died in the worst way possible. Overall this trip was intense, heartbreaking, and educational we have to learn about these things to make sure these tragedies never happen again.
