Sleep
Educations Poison

How can sleep deprivation affect a child’s ability to learn? A huge problem with our modern society is sleep deprivation or lack of sleep. Lack of sleep can be a problem, because without enough sleep, the body cannot properly heal or grow, sleep is a huge part of kids growing so if kids are not getting. The way we can counter this is being able to rest or nap while at school. This sounds crazy at first, but if we even just had three classes a week of napping from 45 mins - 1 hour and 20 mins, it could dramatically affect kids grades and scores.
In this modern age, kids are not getting enough sleep which results in them not being able to hold on to the knowledge they are given at school. This is not their problem however kids are saying they don’t even feel tired until ten or eleven which can be a problem when you think about how kids have to wake up at six or seven to get ready for school so how are you supposed to get ten hours of sleep when you go to bed at eleven and wake up at 6?
This can deeply affect a kids ability to learn because without proper sleep they cannot grasp the knowledge they learn in class/ But here is where we run into the problem. We cannot ask Laguna to start our day earlier because this would affect the schedule. So what should we do our bodies need more sleep to operate properly, but we cannot move school to start later.
I have a solution to our sleep problem however, We dedicate an elective or add a period to our schedule to become a recovery and wellness class. This class would be for students to relax or go to sleep. This would hugely beneficial to students needing sleep or needing to relax before or after a stressful class or situation.
The problem is that kids are not getting enough sleep and with solution they will rested and ready to learn or they will be relaxed after going through a stressful class or test. Kids will be properly rested and will be able to hold on to the knowledge they are given in class.
Sleep deprivation is a huge problem kids have to face right now, With a simple solution of resting in school. With more new technology emerging it is obvious that kids will keep going to bed later and later. However we do not  have to prevent them from technology or things that could keep them awake, instead letting them rest in class.

the most transformational book i have ever read

Hey guys whats up its Robbie/blizzzard here and today I will be telling you about the most transformational book I have ever read.

I believe the most transformational book I have ever read is the Book Thief. I read this book over the summer and honestly i can not remember the last time I read a book like this. It depicted the struggle people had to go through at the time and the whole being narrated by death is really interesting as you are not seeing him as a bad person but at someone just looking over the world which i felt was very interesting. This book really spoke to me and that is why I have to say it is one of the most transformational books I have ever read and it has shaped some of my views that I still believe today. That is why the book thief is the most transformational book I have ever read.

Hey guys what’s up its ya boy blizzzard/Robbie and today im going to talk about 4 things in the new deal that stills impacts us today.

One huge thing that came from is social security. With this new system you were guaranteed money when you retired which made life a whole lot easier for a lot of working Americans. This social security number was an access to everything the government knew about you. But it also was a gateway for people to steal other people private information. While this is a huge issue without social security America could be a mess.

Another major project Roosevelt started was the Tennessee valley authority, this was the start to getting the economy back on track. Roosevelt spent government money to help fund this project. Without Roosevelt the depression would have ended but it might have been a lot later, and in the worst case our economy could have crumbled and crashed and we might have never come out of it and our nation could have been destroyed.

One other huge thing the government did was start the AAA. The AAA was a committee that stood for agricultural adjustment administration. This committee was in charge of the agricultural part of the great depression. It employed 1 out of 5 Americans and started getting food back into the people hands. This committee was a huge stepping stone to the end of the depression. Without this the depression might never had ended and America could have been destroyed.

After the dust bowl Americas food supply was lacking and hurting the economy. So Roosevelt set up the (SCS) or the Soil Conservation Service. This is one of the huge acts Roosevelt started. It got food back into Americas hands. Without this act America could have a food shortage and a huge loss of population.

A person who has shaped my life

While a lot of people are doing historical figures people who have changed the world and impacted our history, I am doing some one who has impacted my life and how i live.  Back in sixth grade i was just a normal kid, i weant to school, did homework, and played video games, but i felt like my life was the same and i was kinda unhappy because i would just do the same thing everyday. Until one day i was looking through youtube and found a creator called miniminter at first i thought this guy is pretty funny ill check him out. I stayed up all night just watching this random guy i have never met or even known till right now. He was super funny and i would look forward to getting home from school just to watch his new video. Now let me step back for a second and actually explain to the people that might not know what youtube is or how it works. Youtube is a website where anybody can post anything they want, to and extent of course. So as you can probably expect there millions of creators worldwide doing what they love. Youtube has come a long way from where it started as well. At the very beginning youtube was either a hobby or something you would use to learn how to do something. Now however it has become something you can make a living out off and be able to do it full time. Now going back to the point i had recently discovered this youtube called miniminter i watched him for days on end i thought he was the best and he brought so much happiness to my life his content made laugh. After watching Simon (miniminter) for a while i discovered a group he was in called the Sidemen. I was amazed that there were six more people just as funny as simon in a group. I watched all their videos, now i should probably explain to you what the Sidemen actually make videos on. They make gaming and in real life skit videos they are hilarious. Although i find all of them funny my favorite is Simon (miniminter) I always found him the funniest and the best content creator. Simon made my life a lot happy i think i have to give him a bit of credit of the way i am right now i have shaped my humor off of his and because of this I gained a lot of new friends. I can safely say because of this random guy on youtube that doesn't even know I exist has changed my life for the better, i can easily say because of this random guy i am a better person in this world. Anyway thank you for reading this essay know I know it's not quite what you expected, But i hope you have learned something new about it or even me thank you.

Museum of tolerance trip

Today I will be writing about our experience at the museum of tolerance.

The museum of tolerance is a place that words cannot do justice to. It is a place where the darkness of history comes to life and we experience what those brave souls had to. One part of the museum that really spoke to me where the gates and tunnels that lead to the gas chambers. The darkness of the room really makes you feel the pain that these people had gone through. The dampness and chill of the room really gave you a chill while learning about the suffering these people weant through. It was a very intense experience going through the recreation of these camps. This area you could really feel the darkness around you the smell, noises, and seeing the area was very intense and educational.

Another part of the museum that was really insightful was getting a card with a child on it. You got a card with a jewish child on it. Throughout the tour of the museum you learned more about your child. When you got to the end however you learned if they lived or not. It was pretty heartbreaking to see how many young children like you and me who died in the worst way possible. Overall this trip was intense, heartbreaking, and educational we have to learn about these things to make sure these tragedies never happen again.
